Welcome to a sisterhood of women who strive to Let Him In.

Hey you guys! This is Kelsie Millet and I am your host here on the Let Him In Podcast, Ah! I am so excited to be doing this podcast it has been in the works for awhile now.

I am so thankful to be with you today and hope that you find this podcast helpful. My intent is just to have these episodes be short and sweet, 10 minutes or less, packed full of thoughts, impressions and easy ways to let God into your everyday life.

You will find a new podcast episode here every day for the next 40 days. The idea is for you to be able to listen to this in the morning sometime- whether that’s while you are throwing on some makeup, while you’re making breakfast for your kiddos.

Whenever it is, the point is for you to walk away with a new perspective or thought on how you can let God into your day.

If you haven’t grabbed my Hear Him journal, I will be sure to link it for you guys in the show notes. The Hear Him journal is definitely not required by any means to listen here on the podcast and have great takeaways. But, there are a lot of episodes that will be directed towards specific areas of the journal.

If you have never heard of the Hear Him journal, and have no idea what I’m talking about it. It is a journal that I created for you to have a space to record your impressions and promptings that you are receiving from God in your daily prayers. It also has space that helps you apply these thoughts and revelations into your everyday life.

If you are already having thoughts like, well crap I don’t hear God in my life on a regular basis, or you haven’t ever received personal revelation. Then guess what?! You’re in the right place. The journal and now this podcast are really created to allow you to feel confident in how to Hear God, and that really starts by giving Him the opportunity to be let into your everyday life which is what THIS PODCAST is targeted to do.

In the April 2020 Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Conference, President Russel M. Nelson gave a talk called Hear Him, and it is SO GOOD. I will be sure to link it in the show notes for you to go and read if you want. But there are some specific parts that really apply to what the goal here is for you and I with this podcast.

He says…

“As disciples of Jesus Christ, our efforts to hear Him need to be ever more intentional. It takes conscious and consistent effort to fill our daily lives with His words, His teachings, His truths.”

Later in this same conference talk he says

We can hear Him more clearly as we refine our ability to recognize the whisperings of the Holy Ghost. It has never been more imperative to know how the Spirit speaks to you than right now. In the Godhead, the Holy Ghost is the messenger. He will bring thoughts to your mind which the Father and Son want you to receive.

I renew my plea for you to do whatever it takes to increase your spiritual capacity to receive personal revelation.

NOW HERE ARE THE BLESSINGS.

Doing so will help you know how to move ahead with your life, what to do during times of crisis, and how to discern and avoid the temptations and the deceptions of the adversary.”

You guys!!! These blessings are a gift of peace in our lives. Don’t we all want even just a little bit more peace in our lives? I can testify to you that I have seen each one of these blessings in my life as I have continued to let Him in and give Him the opportunity to speak to me.

We are going to be wrapping up each episode with a little journal prompt or just thought for you to ponder throughout the day.

Today is a two part question: Do I need more peace in my life? And if yes, what am I willing to do to receive it?

Ok you guys. I cannot wait to have you back here in the morning for what is technically episode one.

Leaving you with hopefully a little more stillness, an open mind and a desire to connect with God.
