Hey you guys! This is Kelsie Millet and I am your host here on the Let Him In Podcast, where
my intent is to have these episodes full of thoughts, impressions and ways for you to easily let God into your every day.
I hope you guys are having an amazing morning. I get so excited to talk to you guys about these little different topics each day that play into our spiritual and physical life. When I originally started talking about creating this podcast to close friends and family- I think a majority of them felt like I was a crazy person.
They asked why I had to have an episode come out everyday, why did it have to be as long as 40 days? Why could I not just create a little PDF guide that had some guidelines for implementing the Hear Him journal, or really why could I not just sell the product and be done at that point.
Over the last couple of months I think I have also started asking myself all of these questions. But it really comes down to two different things. One, God has impressed upon me numerous times the importance of the journal, but just as much as the journal, He also has made it very clear that creating a community of strong women is something that He wants.
A place where we can feel confident in sharing our testimonies, and experiences. Allowing ourselves to learn from one another and wanting to grow not only spiritually, but also as a community grow closer to Him.
This is one of the reasons I have created this podcast, is to truly hope that it can help us all, me included, grow together spiritually as well as grow closer to Him.
The second reason I created this podcast is because if I have learned anything in the last couple of years on my journey with God. And my relationship with Him, communicating more openly and in conversation with Him- it has been that it takes effort and work throughout my day. Not just when I show up to journal and pray. But I have to intentionally and continually invite the spirit into my day. That I have to intentionally and continually strive for more personal growth. That I have to have the desire to look for Him and find Him throughout my day.
It is by adding Him into my life so intentionally that the doors of personal revelation open wider and wider and wider. It becomes easier and easier and easier to Hear Him. I wanted to try and help provide a way that we could all get the best out of our Hear Him journal. That we could encounter the best personal experiences through revelation. And I knew that by just handing over a journal, we may not get there.
This is becoming a long tangent, but I just wanted you to know that we can show up to pray, journal, and have conversation with God without doing anything else added into our day- and still be able to connect with Him. We can.
But. If we take the time to implement gratitude through our day, create pauses of stillness, improve how we are showing love to God daily, making Him a priority of the world. These are the things that are going to make our relationship with Him deeper. These are the ways that we are going to know Him more. These are the ways that we can continue to open the doors of revelation not just when we sit down to our prayer journal. But that revelation can flow to us all throughout the day.
Today’s episode is simply to act as a reminder to you that we have control of how we use our time during the day. We have control over what consumes our thoughts.
Let’s also not make this more complicated than it needs to be. This is spending 30 seconds here, 5 minutes there throughout our day checking in with ourselves and making sure that we are intentionally living our day in a way that He can be with us. That’s it. Don’t overcomplicate this. Because the second you do you are giving into Satan who wants to make you think small effort is basically no effort. But effort is EFFORT.
Say the one liner prayer, put on the one worship song, take a deep breath and count to 5 when you are about to lose your patience. These are the small intentional acts we can achieve to open the doors of having His spirit with us, which in turn creates possibility for more continual personal revelation.
Today’s thought is just to remind you that you are doing a job, and you should be proud. God loves YOU. YOU ARE OF WORTH. God sees you for your potential, Always.
For those of you that do have the Hear Him journal, Now would be the perfect time to pull that out and continue in more stillness, an open mind and a desire to connect with God.
Love you guys!

I appreciate the fact that you didn’t give in to the negative voices around you when you were contemplating doing the journal and the 40 days of episodes. I am so grateful I found your work and your voice is so calming.
